Why Connect Webmail to Gmail?

What You Need Before Starting
- Your business email (example: info@yourcompany.co.za)
- The password for the email
- Your mail server name (usually: mail.yourdomain.com)

Step 1: Log in to your Gmail
Go to https://mail.google.com and sign in with your Gmail account.
Step 2: Open Gmail Settings
- Click the gear icon at the top-right
- Click “See all settings”
Step 3: Go to Accounts and Import
Click the tab called “Accounts and Import” at the top.
Step 4: Add Your Webmail to Receive Emails

Click Add Account
Now Gmail will start receiving your emails.
Step 7: Allow Gmail to Send Emails Using Your Business Email
Gmail will now ask:
“Do you want to be able to send mail as info@yourcompany.co.za?”
Select Yes
Click Next
Step 8: SMTP (Sending Email) Settings
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: your full email address
Password: your email password
Port: 465
Select: Secure connection using SSL
Click Add Account
Step 9: Confirm Your Email
Gmail will send a verification code to your business email.
Open Gmail (or Webmail), copy the code, paste it back into Gmail, and click Confirm.
Your Webmail is now fully connected to Gmail.
How to Send Emails Using Your Business Email from Gmail
When composing an email:
- Click the “From” field
- Select your business email to send from it
